Staying at Golden Flower Pansiyon was a mixed bag for my family vacation. It's conveniently located near various public transport routes, making it easy for us to hop around Istanbul. The staff was pleasant, speaking English and Russian, and they offered helpful tips for navigating the city. The hotel itself is quite basic. Our room was in need of repairs, especially with some flooring issues that made us feel a bit uneasy. While we were only there for one night, it would have been nice to have a little more comfort. What stood out, though, was the staff's kindness. Mr Yakob at the reception was particularly helpful, ensuring we had pre-arranged transportation to get us to our next destination smoothly. The head of housekeeping, Mr Murad, also did a commendable job. Be prepared for an early wake-up call from the mosque's morning prayers, and perhaps some patience is required due to the small lift. If you're looking for a budget option with family-friendly service, Golden Flower Pansiyon could work, but don't expect luxury.
